Timberdoodle Lodge: Kellidoodle Cottage

Enjoy the peace and quiet and night sky of Timberdoodle Lodge at the Kellidoodle or Grammy's Cottage, surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax or play (or even keep in touch or do a little work). Hiking? Over 650 miles of trails are nearby. In winter you can snowshoe or cross country ski on those trails! Fishing? Bring your waders and fishing rod for superb trout fishing on nearby Kinzua Creek, Sugar Run or Willow Creek. See more details below. The space The Kellidoodle Cottage is a free-standing studio with a queen bed, modern bath and kitchenette, nestled in the woods. HIGH SPEED INTERNET IS AVAILABLE. The kitchen comes with toaster/convection oven, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, tea and coffee pot, microwave, hot plate and refrigerator. A gas grill is available right outside your door. The bathroom includes a shower, vanity and basic toiletries. Towels, bathrobes and bath and bed linens are included. Guest access Kellidoodle Cottage is self-contained with a lockbox. Our history: When we retired in 2011 it was to Timberdoodle Lodge which has grown to better accommodate full-time life. Besides our main residence and Kellidoodle Cottage, Grammy's Cottage was built for family members but now we want to share with you as well. In 2003, when we purchased Timberdoodle Lodge, it was an escape … from the city, from our busy lives. Back then we couldn’t wait to pile in the car after a long work week and drive 7 hours from the city to our little piece of heaven. It wasn’t long before the little garage next door became guest space--now known as the Kellidoodle Cottage. It is and has been the scene--for family and friends who became our family-of many good parties, good times and a lots of love! For relaxing or playing (or even a little bit of working) Timberdoodle Lodge is the perfect place to be. We love dogs and will allow your well socialized fur baby. However for insurance purposes, we exclude the following breeds: German shepherd, pit bull and their mixes, Doberman pinchers, huskies and Rottweilers. Since we also have a fur baby, we would like yours to be friendly with him as well as to children and adults. We do char cleaning fee of $50.
