Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants inLaurel from this cozy cottage. Our home was featured on HGTV’s HomeTown. While we live in the main house, we had Katie (contractor on show) remodel the two rooms behind us as guest rooms. We have added carvings to the landscape, a whole house generator, and a few places to sit and enjoy the outside. Our episode was called Woodland Wonderland, but better known as the Hobbit House. Isao and I would love to welcome you to Laurel, MS. The studio room has a queen bed, private bathroom, microwave, small refridgerator, coffee pot, tea pot, snacks to get you started, dishes, WiFi, TV, air conditioning/heating unit, alarm with 2 USB ports, private keyless entry, and outdoor private Traeger bbq for your own use. Security cameras, access to a storm shelter, and whole house generator in case power goes out. Large porch to enjoy with a table and chairs to drink your morning coffee or evening beverage. Carved 10 foot wizard and 4 woodland carvings out of tree stumps to take your picture with. You will not only have the private studio to yourself, but several outdoor spaces to sit and relax. the full outdoor space is for you to enjoy. My goal is to give whatever you want to enjoy your stay in Laurel. If you want to sit with me and chat….I would love to. If you want to be on your own to read, relax or nap….I totally will give you your space. I am here for you at anytime day or night should you have concerns, thoughts or if you need something in the room that you don’t have. Our cottages are in the heart of the historic district. Only 1 block from the lovely Mason Park, surrounded by many homes that you saw on HGTV's Hometown, within walking distance of downtown Laurel (less than 1 mile), and 6 blocks to the Museum. From our cottages, it is less than a mile to get to The town of Laurel for browsing around, shopping, or just enjoying the events going on. Walking is such a pleasure, but depending on the time of year, or how much you shop, driving is the best way. There is plenty of parking behind the Rusty Chandelier and on the streets.
