Escape to our secluded glamping tent nested in the heart of the forest but only 5 min. walk from the highway. Experience breathtaking forest views, cozy campfires and unparalleled stargazing! The tent is accessed by a short hike from the parking spot. A creek runs towards the back about 100m from the site. Enjoy your Welcome Amenity of Plantain Salve and Pace Counter. Experience our backcountry glamping luxury tent near lakes, rivers, farms and more! The space By accepting this reservation, you agree to the terms listed in House Rules. Nestled in our 15 acre private old forest and on the Trans Canada Trail! This cozy 12 x 14 ft glamping / wall tent is built on a platform with a wood frame and deck. Inside is a queen bed, desk, chairs and a wood burning stove (after mid-September). The explorer's tent is for 2 people, but 4 can sleep comfortably (2 adults and 2 children). We will provide 2 cots if needed (please contact for details). Additional tent space for friends is available. (Bring your own tent) Please contact me for additional charges. There is parking available for your car (max 2) There is a fire pit where you will enjoy campfire cooking. If you don't wish to cook your meals on the fire, we also have an outdoor kitchen with a propane stove. Just 450 meters from our property, there is a convenience store where you can find most essentials. We have a rainwater collecting system for cleaning and shower purposes. You can get drinking water from the nearby spring (ask for directions). There is an outhouse located just steps away from the tent. Comfortable and cozy accommodation in a backcountry setting. Enjoy lovely hikes through the evergreen forest, learn about medicinal plants and more (depending on the season). With just a short walk towards the back of the property you will find a wetland with a creek. The path is lined with wild raspberry bushes. Be sure to check out our resident beaver's dam! Guest access Our property is easily accessible from Highway 534. We have a designated parking spot for you. From there, take a lovely 7 minutes walk through our forest trail. The trail to the site is quite easy to navigate, but please use due diligence when walking in the forest as it is not constantly maintained. Other things to note Upon booking we will provide you with all the details. I may be staying on the property far enough from the camp site, but close enough to provide services like meeting you upon arrival, giving you information about the camp, daily service for the outhouse and more. You can just relax and let nature fill you with earth's energy! You will have the best sleep as I hear from lot's of visitors previously. There is great cellular internet connection with Rogers. We have not tested the other providers. There are a couple of trail cams throughout the property to spot wildlife. 24 hours surveillance cameras at the land for security purposes. No cameras on private areas. Registered guests may bring a maximum of 2 socialized, quiet and well-behaved dogs. Pet fee applies. No hunting, trapping or firearms allowed on property. No cutting wood from live or dead trees!
