This large home with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms can accommodate 12 guests in it's 4 queen and 2 King beds. Portable memory foam bedding available for extra guests. Great for groups and family getaways to and from Portland. Fully furnished and decorated, this house is very secluded Victorian on 45 Forested acres built in the 90's perched over a hillside with great views on acreage. It's 6 bedrooms are able to accommodate 12 guests with more room in loft and tower if needed. There are nearby birdwatching, hiking, and natural areas. Sauvie Island is just a 4 minute car ride away. Heading into downtown Portland for dinner or attractions will take you 17 to 20 minutes door to door in most cases. •For larger gatherings: Ask about additional nearby space. •This home is a great place to feel like you're a hundred miles from the city. Very private and quiet. •Most rooms set up with Web TV (ROKU) devices. •Fully stocked kitchen. Bring your own food, replace what you use from the pantry. •I don't allow parties as they tend to generate damage to the house. Guests have access to the entire home but for a storage room in basement. This includes the main floor with two suites (own bathrooms), living, dining rooms and kitchen, the second floor with two bedrooms, shared bath, loft, and a third floor tower for storm watching, star gazing, or pretending you're a pretty pretty princess (kids LOVE it). The spacious daylight basement also has two bedrooms and one shared bath, a pool table, wet bar, and TV lounge. I may meet guests for check in or provide door code and communicate via email or text. I am a metal and glass artist and am often on site at nearby garage working on some project or other. If your group is ever inconvenienced by work, just holler and I'll make accommodations. McNamee is a quiet rural street in the hills just beyond Forest Park. The house is set back far from the road. You will have a sense of being nestled in the forest on a perch with a great view Northward. The nearest public transit is the city bus that goes as far as Sauvie Island, just 2 miles short of the house. You will certainly need a vehicle. Longer reservations preferred, but I do allow 1-2 days if adjacent to other reservations or last minute.
