Just a minute from the lake and perfect as a base for excursions in the region. Ideal for families, friends or couples looking for the unique atmosphere of a newly renovated, clay-plastered house with exposed wooden beams for relaxing days. Thanks to the natural materials of clay and wood, the house has a wonderful indoor climate. Here you just feel good! We built the semi-detached house the way we as a young family would like to have it ourselves and showed attention to detail in the furnishings. Between the kitchen and the dining room is an open pass-through, in the conservatory next door you can snuggle up and relax with a cup of tea and a good book. With three bedrooms, each with a double bed, the semi-detached house is designed for six people. The bathroom is equipped with natural stone and a rain shower, almost a small wellness oasis. Thanks to a fiber optic connection, you are well connected despite the country life – the accommodation is also suitable for workations or small teams who want to do project work away from the big city stress. We have paid particular attention to child-friendliness. Baby safety gates are attached to the stairs and on request we will gladly provide a children's travel bed and highchair. Cars rarely drive here. You can play great outside, watch horses in the neighboring stable and feed the sheep. Our garden invites you to relax in the evenings by the fire pit or grill. On mild summer nights, you can eat at the wooden furniture in the garden and drink a delicious beer from the region. If you need more space, please check out our other listings. For family reunions, workations or other occasions, two or all three units can be booked, because the gardens are connected by gates and can be shared as desired (see site plan). Guest access Access is via a key safe at the door. The house is part of a complex with three other houses. All guests have free parking and a private garden. Other things to note The tranquil village of Häven is located on the quiet Lake Keez. Right next door is the "Gut Häven" horse stable and an ice cream cart for warm summer days. Not far away is a very nice public swimming area, which can be reached on foot or by bike. Recreational activities such as hiking, cycling, fishing or canoeing are just some of the possibilities that the area has to offer. The two beautiful cities of Wismar and Schwerin can each be reached in only about 30 minutes by car. The Baltic Sea coast is also close. The vacation home is a great starting point for experiences in the region! The village of Häven is located between Hamburg and Berlin and can be reached via the highway within 1.5 - 2 hours drive. The "Blankenberg" train station is only 15 minutes away by car or taxi. With the on-call bus you can easily get to the vacation home even without a car.
