Description
We are a legally permitted 4 bedroom short term rental house. Alberta Arts district is unique; rich in culture, excellent food and drink, on transit lines and totally walkable. We're half a block from it all. At home, enjoy the whole single level house, impeccably clean, modern and comfortable, with solid bamboo floors. Enjoy the front porch and private back yard. Our tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment. The space We have keyless entry with a unique code for each group. Your party may use the driveway, you can park a couple of cars single file. We're not ADA, but there are no stairs, which is unusual in this neighborhood, and the shower bathroom has a low sill, and we have a shower stool. Free wifi. Gig speed fiber internet. Sound Bar. Fully equipped kitchen with such staples as sugar, spices, and oil, cleaning supplies, napkins, trash bags, kleenex, paper towels. I almost always provide a welcome bottle of wine, coffee beans, snacks, half-and half. Lots of fluffy and microfiber bath towels, handtowels and washcloths, Shampoo, body wash, first aid kit. Bamboo sheets! Two bikes with helmets and locks. A charcoal barbecue grill. A wading pool for little kids (in the shed). This is one of Portland's best "pocket" neighborhoods. It's diverse and unique; full of walkable fun. There are so many restaurants and bars within blocks of the house. There are shops, art galleries, the well-stocked Alberta Co-op grocery, and a Zoom care all within steps of the house. Our neighborhood: creative and cool, friendly, fabulous food, flat, walkable, and bikeable. We have Alberta's 'Last Thursday': the divine arts fair on the last Thursday of every warm month, when they close the whole street and the artsy spirit of PDX is in full bloom... Fall in love with Portland here. We restored this 1970's ranch in 2013 (and again in 2016 when we built the apartment upstairs) to give it a geometric, clean, inviting style. Quiet, solid bamboo floors run throughout the house, every appliance is Energy Star, all the bulbs are LED. It's super private, and the living/outdoor spaces do not intersect with the upstairs tenant's area at all. The front porch is a great place to watch the neighborhood walk by, and the big back yard has a beautiful gazebo with two couches and dining table with umbrella and a dining table with six chairs and a huge umbrella. All for you. I don't use a deceptive lens to photograph the house. It's a 10-18mm with no distortion or stretching, so it is as big as it looks. Guest access The whole first floor, the driveway, the front porch, the back yard, are for you and are not shared spaces. Other things to note If you're considering a month, book 31 days.
