Open concept kitchen-family room with a fantastic view of the river. The cottage is decorated in a modern-cottage theme with some vintage furniture and accessories mixed in. Clean lines and tasteful decor, each room has many tiny details I hope all will appreciate.📿 🧥🧣🩱Anything found in the cottage is available for guests to use. You will find basic necessities in the kitchen and bathroom🧴. For infants 3-24 months. ➖PLEASE NOTE FOR POOL AND WATER CRAFT➖ ➡️The pool is open as soon as it possibly can be but many things are dependent on the river levels. 🏊🏻‍♂️If possible, it is ready at the end of May but at times first weekend of June. Please ask prior to booking if this is on your wish list!! ➡️Kayak and canoe availability depends on the river levels in early spring and late fall but I like to get them out as soon as possible for my guests. 🛶 Please inquire if you expect to use them during this time of year. ➡️Please keep in mind that the Richelieu is a river with a current, not a lake. The river recedes as the weeks pass making the water around the dock very shallow in July and August.🐟 ➡️Outdoor camp fire pit may not be available in early spring. 🔥Depending on the thaw conditions, water levels may be high in spring time and the pit can be flooded since it on the river's edge. ➡️Guests must provide their own fire wood.🪵 Other things to note ❌NO PARTIES ARE PERMITTED, BIG OR SMALL. The numbers of guests you reserve for cannot change during your visit. 🔴I offer free, unlimited internet. Under no circumstances are guests allowed to download movies or shows from any counterfeit website. Streaming from legitimate sites, Netflix, Crave etc... is permitted. Copyright infringement is a serious offence. 🟡Guests are invited to enjoy themselves freely but be mindful of the people living nearby. Although the cottage only has two neighbors, outdoor noise should be at a minimum after 9 pm. In an effort to keep the property beautiful for everyone it would be appreciated if guests would put outdoor cushions away in the evening and wind down and tie umbrellas in case of high winds and rain. 🔵 Pool and lawn maintenance are done on various days of the week. The pool and lawn will be cared for during your stay with minimal disruption to you. 🟢THE HOUSE HAS A WELL. Water for drinking is found in the front closet. I provide a full jug plus one which is already on the machine for your stay. It is possible that the scent of sulphur is noticeable in the tap water. The cottage is in a country environment therefore the filtration system is different than that of an urban location. La maison est alimentée par UN PUITS. De l’eau potable est disponible dans le garde-robe à l’entrée. Je fournis une bonbonne pleine ainsi qu’une autre déjà installée sur le distributeur pour la durée de votre séjour. Il est possible que vous remarquiez une légère odeur de soufre dans l’eau du robinet. Le chalet est situé en milieu rural; le système de filtration est donc différent de celui que l’on retrouve en milieu urbain. Cette odeur est normale et n’affecte pas la qualité de l’eau.
