Southern Comfort Lakehouse on Tims Ford Lake

Tims Ford Lake is the best family vacation all year and we have the best view on the lake. We're on Lost Creek with 4 bedrooms, a bunk room, 3 full baths, game room, 2 large decks, a dock with a Hydrohoist and Jet Ski lift. Our cove is off the main channel so no direct boat traffic. It's 10 minutes from Jack Daniels Distillery and the State Park with hiking/biking trails and the fabulous Bear Trace Golf Course. We're on a cul-de-sac in a secluded neighborhood with the best sunsets. The space We call it Southern Comfort, but when the wind is blowing the right direction, you can smell the Jack Daniels distilling. The views are outstanding, the lake is clean, the furniture is comfy, and the first rule is to relax and have fun. We are only 9 miles from the world famous distillery, about 7 miles to Tims Ford State Park and the amazing Bear Trace Golf Course, 7.5 miles to Tims Ford Marina, and only about 12 miles from Tullahoma where you'll find grocery stores, WalMart, Lowes and lots of restaurants. The best eating on the lake is close by at the Hard Dock Cafe or the Blue Gill Grill where you can pull up in your boat and enjoy the lake while you dine.rdt Guest access You will have full access to the lake house with the exception of a couple of our storage closets and the garage. We have to have a place to store our stuff. The hydrohoist will hold up to 4,000 lbs. If your boat is over 21 feet, it will be necessary to tie off to the side of the dock. We have a lift for a jet ski as well, but you'll have to crank it up. It's easy to do, and will help protect your toys. Rental boats are available at Tims Ford Marina. Ask for Chris. Our dock has a ladder and the water is approximately 12' deep off outside of the dock. We do not have a lifeguard on duty and it is understood that by renting the property, the renters accept that they and their guests swim at their own risk and accept the responsibility for their collective safety. Other things to note There is a new gas grill that will be full of fuel, a gas fire place that sets a nice atmosphere, a game room with a pool table, air hockey, foosball and darts, 2 big screen TVs, a DVR with movies saved, a selection of board games in case it rains, two large open decks and an enclosed private deck off the master (we call it the martini deck). Also, we have solid ramps available for wheelchair access up the one step to the front door and for over the threshold of the sliding doors for access to the deck.
