Ideally situated between the quaint artists village of Arroyo Seco and Taos Ski Valley, this property sits on a private two and a half acres close to National Forestland. Enjoy your morning coffee in the great room or on the back portal overlooking the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, while only minutes from the unique restaurants of Arroyo Seco and Taos. Recently renovated in 2015 by designer Melissa Serfling of Red Cat Melissiana in Taos, there are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed and the upstairs bedroom has two comfy twin beds with reclaimed barnwood headboards and a great view of the mountains. Enjoy DirecTV and high speed internet with WiFi access throughout the house. A 40" Smart HDTV in the great room allows you access to stream movies via Netflix or music through Pandora. Radiant heating and a wood burning fireplace will keep you warm in the winter or on cool summer mountain nights. There is an utility room for storing wet ski gear and a washer and dryer. The house is set up to enjoy family fun on the mountain. There are walking sticks for hiking and sleds available for the kids to enjoy sledding right out the back door. In the winter enjoy world class skiing or snowboarding, snowmobile tours and shoe shoeing. Taos Ski Valley, only minutes away (10 miles) was recently listed in the Top 20 Ski Resorts by USA Today Travel and the Huffington Post ranks Taos as one of the Top 10 Underrated Ski Resorts in the US. Taos Ski School has been consistently named one of the best ski schools in the nation. In the summer, enjoy river rafting, mountain climbing, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking or horseback riding.
