If looking for a quiet restful night's sleep, you'll find it here! No smoking/vaping on-premises. Located in North Portland within desirable Arbor Lodge; quiet residential neighborhood. Organic coffee/tea available. Near parks and neighborhood restaurants. Safe disinfectants are used for cleaning. The space There is a dedicated desk & work space for your use. Bedroom has slider door that leads outside to relax in my lovely backyard. Meditation garden with water fountain for a quiet outside space is available. This is a lovely 1920's remodeled home with wonderful features. Guest access You'll have access to morning coffee/tea in my kitchen and food storage in the refrigerator. I prefer no cooking but heating up foods is fine. Long stay guests will negotiate kitchen use at different times. During your stay Maps and guide books are available and I am happy to help you find your way around. Right in my neighborhood there are numerous ethnic restaurants in easy walking distance: Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, southern style cooking, and more. Of course downtown restaurants have some of the best cuisines in the country! Food carts are located through out the city. Other things to note Easy access to Interstate 5. Located 8 miles from Portland Airport. Also close to Vancouver, WA (3 miles). The Columbia River Gorge with its scenic highway is a must-see for some visitors. It is an easy 45-minute drive to view spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails, and scenic vistas. Forest Park with over 500 acres and 80 miles of trails is a well loved inner city park. Peninsular Park with its rose garden is nearby within 1 mile of my home. The Rose Garden is downtown as well as the world-famous Japanese Gardens and Chinese Gardens in downtown Chinatown. Mt Hood is one hour away and worth the trip to see Timberline Lodge, chair lifts, hiking and snow sports if you like. Many other sites to visit like natural water falls, OR historical society, famous Arlene Schnitzer Theater downtown hosts great concerts as well as the Alberta Rose Theater who host local musicians. The downtown waterfront park along the Williamette River also holds many shows, exhibits and a beautiful walk. You can rent bikes and scooters all over Portland too!
