Handmade Charm, a warm, cozy house in the city

Whole cottage near Gordon Square, Detroit Shoreway, Ohio City, and Downtown. The Judith, a French inspired coffee shop around the corner. Literally near the best eateries in the city. Our small slice of Cleveland is also known as Ecovillage (a community with a focus on green living). The cottage is nestled in the midst of community gardens. Live in your own comfortable, quiet space with no other people during your stay. Near the end of the Red Line Greenway walking/bike path. The space Comfortable, Inspirational, Colorful, a little Playful: We remodeled a 100 year old small house with a focus on handmade, repurposed and green fittings and decor. We've worked with a local tile artist and painter to give you a cozy, artistic and unique retreat. The courtyard is sweet and private. Some of our guests have written books, made paintings, written songs, and found inner piece in our cozy space We think you will love our special touches like complimentary local coffee, tea, and goodies. We are also a great place to locate for theatre, all sorts of sports, basketball, football, hockey, baseball, Cleveland International Film Festival CIFF, etc. Guest access Guests have the whole house, but we would request that you only access the basement for emergencies, like the lights going out etc. Other things to note Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: We have always been meticulous cleaners and have now begun more intense cleaning in between guests. The house has always been rented as a whole house, no other guests in the building when you are booked so this excellent for social distancing. In other news: Peet knows a lot about the city. He's written a chapter in a local travel book and he coordinates city wide tours in spring and fall in which we spend 12 hours walking across the city and visiting sites and businesses that are off the beaten path.
