Self check-in is available. The foyer is full of light and is mixed use - read, play cards or sip your morning tea. The living room seats 5 and has a very comfy, napping couch. The all white, open kitchen has two seating areas, one at the peninsula and one at the round glass table. The full bath with an oversized, easy access shower & dual shower heads is located in the hall. Richmond's weather permits almost year round use of the patio table and chairs in the quiet, relaxing backyard. NOTE - Over the past two years my house has mostly been booked as a "guest room" stay. If you would like to read more current reviews, go to the Naturally Light - Near Willow Lawn listing. My home has been described as comfortable and pleasing to the senses. It has a well stocked kitchen. It is centrally located near St. Mary's Hospital, Libby Place and Willow Lawn. You can drive to downtown, Short Pump, Bon Air or Forest Hill areas in fifteen minutes. Restaurants, boutiques, grocers (chains & locally owned), HomeGoods, Target and Barnes & Noble are within walking distance or under a 5-minute drive. Self Check-in is an option. Guests have access to all of the house except the attic, two closets labeled "private", and the tool shed. Guests can reach me by AirBnb messaging (preferred), phone, text or email. Central to all Richmond has to offer - VCU, U of R, beautiful city and county parks, great restaurants with outside dining, shopping at local stores as well as national chains, and fabulous museums. Walk .5 - .9 mile to St. Mary's Hospital, 1.1 miles (2.4 round-trip) to cafes, bookstore, Target, St. Mary's Hospital; walk 1.5 miles to three restaurants, one pharmacy and Ace Hardware on Patterson Avenue; walk 2.1 miles to multiple restaurants, shops and public library on Grove Avenue. Drive to Willow Lawn, VCU, U of R, Short Pump Town Center, downtown financial district, Virginia Museum of Fine Art, and everywhere else in 5-15 minutes. The guests are asked to feed the outside cats, referred to as the "outsiders", each day near dusk. The cat food is provided. Up to two pets - one dog (under 40 lbs.) and one cat. Guests are asked to bring their own blanket to cover the sofa and other cloth surfaces (if your fur buddies are couch potatoes) or use the one I provide. Cat owners will need to provide their own litter box and litter. The litter box may only be placed in the utility room The backyard needs to be de-pooped regularly (especially before the grass is cut). Exercising of your dogs needs to occur at dog parks or on walks. I want to avoid damage to plants and bushes that have taken time to establish. Non-refundable pet fee is $150/pet. Please pay the fee within 24 hours of check-in via the Airbnb Resolution Center.
