Eat sleep and wander Bosa historic central house

Bosa, one of the autentic medieval borgo in Sardegna, was home to a tannery industry in the 19th century. This building had been converted to a home after the business it housed closed, the last tannery in the area. It is now an excellent home base from which to explore on foot the many historic sites, museums, festivals, cuisine and gems Bosa has to offer. Supermarket is a block away. Restaurants and tannery Museum across the street. Parking is in front the of house. The space The house is spacious, 162 square meter consisting of three floors. The top floor is a loft space with two twin beds and a workspace with a desk. Two small skylights offer pleasant natural light during the day. The second floor has two well appointed bedrooms, each with queen beds and a balcony. One side looks at the street and the other looks out to the back of the house and a bit if the mountains behind. A full bathroom is also on the second floor. The lower floor is at street level and contains the living area with wood burning fireplace, dining area, kitchen, full bath and laundry services with a washer and dryer. Air-conditioning is available in every room. In the summertime it is naturally cool due to the thickness of the walls. The Concerie " tannery" are unique in the area, required to be kept true to its historic fabric and protected from being remodeled or altered indiscriminately. Guest access All areas are open for guest use. Other things to note As with old homes, the stairs can be uneven and steep.
