Lake Van Auken Channel House

Lake VanAuken is a 250 acre all sports lake. This a 100ft channel front property. It offers plenty of nature, turtles, fish, swans etc. we have lots of toys bean bags, canoe, kayak, paddle board, hammock. Bring your own boat or jet skis there is plenty of room. Enjoy an evening by the fire pit. We are 15-20 minutes from Lake Michigan at St Joseph or South Haven. Close to u-pick orchards and wineries. Hartford Speedway, Four Winns Casino, Sunset Drive in. Don’t forget Shermans Ice cream. The space The house has 2 bedrooms and a large living room to move around. It also has two sofa beds. We offer a full functioning kitchen with all you need to cook. I do have some cooking basics. (Oil, sugar, salt, pepper) I have a large fridge and a mini fridge , portable ice maker, water dispenser and coffee maker. I have crockpots and blenders and toaster. I offer free wifi but remember this is a rural area. I recommend to hook up to wifi calling as phone service is sometimes weak. I have direct tv with Chicago stations. The property offers 100 foot of waterfront views. It is very peaceful out here. Don’t let the trailer aspect of this home fool you. It is very clean and nice. The turtles and fish are fun to watch while having coffee or an evening cocktail. I sometimes have okey dokey popcorn above the fridge feel free to feed them. Once in a while the swans come down. Half bath attached to garage. Board games Bbq gas grill (please use scraper when done) Sit on kayak Stand up paddle board Canoe Lily pad (please roll back up when done ) Hammock (bed part is in shed. Base is along the house) Bean bag game Umbrella Outdoor chairs Outdoor tables Tiki lamps Smoore sticks 4 life jackets Dvd player in back bedroom with Netflix Please put everything back I also have fishing poles in the shed Guest access There is an extra bathroom attached to the garage. Remember this is only a half bath the shower is not hooked up yet. Park car in front of garage please leave enough room to get Golfcart out. DO NOT PULL UP NEXT TO HOUSE. Other things to note I will be in the area. I have a place across the channel so I will be around If bringing your own boat the channel is a no wake zone. Travel the lake counter clockwise always. Please note that the air conditioning is a wall unit in main living area and a portable in the bedroom.
