I am an artist and my artwork hangs on the walls of the house, rarely but occasionally there may be a nude figure painting, with no intention to offend anyone's taste. But if someone is really bothered by one of my paintings it would not offend me to switch out another and replace a painting. I stay in the studio building in the backyard and have access to the kitchen and utility room, and laundry via the back door. So I don't have to go through the guest's space. The original art work created by the owner and some the furniture may be switched periodically. The kitchen has many gadgets but as there is no dishwasher, dishes are washed in the sink and placed in the dish drain. If there is something that you may require I may be able to get that for you. For the host: The host will have shared access and use of kitchen, laundry room (accessed through the back door of the house so as not to be in the "guest space"), patio, front porch, parking in driveway and on the street. During your stay I am available for questions about Lexington and the Bluegrass area. I would be happy to help making your stay most hospitable. Other things to note Because of Covid extra caution and pre-caution is taken in the cleaning and airing out the house between reservations. Guests should wear masks in the shared spaces. Communication is important so if you need anything just let me know. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves in the kitchen and the rest of the space. Guests should eat at the dining table and not in the bedrooms this helps with cleaning so I don't have to charge the guests an extra cleaning fee. There is a restaurant great for breakfast just a 3 minute walk. With many others restaurants and shopping nearby. This is not a party house but it is a nice quiet place where guest can relax and enjoy their stay. If you are looking for a party house you should seek another location. Too much noise will disturb the neighbors who are nice people.
