Your apartment has its own independent entrance, although you are also connected to the rest of the townhouse upstairs. You can access the apartment directly by walking down the slightly graded grassy path (as shown in listing pics). Alternatively, you're welcome to access the apartment through the townhouse front entrance (which involves climbing up and down steps.) You're welcome to chose what's most comfortable to you. Since your space is quite independent from the rest of the house (with a latch at your end of the doorway connected to the house), you can choose complete privacy and never interact with the residents upstairs. Some days/ evenings I'm out attending to clients/ meetings; and others I am home attending to business activities. Nevertheless, it'll be my pleasure to meet you, if you're up for it. I always enjoy and appreciate varied cultural experiences especially the people. I am also pursuing my passion and newly acquired skill of open water diving (Padi certified). I now seek destinations to explore land surface and ocean surface adventures! Note: I host other Airbnb guests (mostly 1) in my guest bedroom on the 3rd level. Occasionally I may invite you and this guest over for dinner upstairs. That's likely is the only time you will encounter this person, since you have your own apartment. There have been occasions where both my guests from upstairs and your space struck a kinship and chose to connect on their own. By no means do I force interactions...but want you to know that there may be other guests sharing my home upstairs. Additional neighborhood treats: I can arrange your access the Community Olympic size swimming pool (open during Summers. Note: community fees apply), tennis courts (key available upon request - must be returned before you leave), playgrounds, a great park, plenty of bike paths and gorgeous running trails alongside running brooks and dense woods...all at a short distance from your apartment. Neighborhood includes the Franklin Farm Village Center (https://www.rappaportco.com/property/franklin-farm-village-center/) that has various restaurants, grocery, and stores to meet your needs. I've also included pics of malls, stores, and entertainment centers within short driving proximity. There are loads of restaurants within a 2-3 mile radius Typically plenty of street parking available. About the overall location: the apartment is at an ideal commuting location right off Springhaven Drive and Fairfax County Parkway. It's in Fairfax, next to Chantilly, and right next to Herndon. It's barely a few minutes drive to Rt. 66, 28, and 50; 6 miles from the Reston Town Center, 5 miles from Fair Oaks Mall, and 9 miles from the Vienna Metro. Please note that there's no quick access to public transportation. Having your own mode of transportation (or Uber) is necessary. There's an additional charge for pets. I thank you in helping me determine this by providing me as much information as possible, such as type, breed, weight, caged, declawed, noisy, sheds, shots, etc. For your pets I've provided a large cage that converts into a gate (comfortably fits a large dog such as golden retriever, as seen in the pics), a comfy large bed, dishes, and a retractable long leash. The laundry room is on your floor (separate entrance). I generally respect your bedtime, and don't run laundry after 10 PM. You can use my detergent etc. for a fee.
