The space This exquisite 7-bedroom house, recently renovated and set on 60 acres, is the epitome of modern luxury. It features central air conditioning, large 8-foot windows, high 10-foot ceilings, modern bathrooms, and a gourmet chef's kitchen, ensuring a stay that is both comfortable and seamless. The house is fronted by a spacious wraparound porch with a 10-foot dining table, perfect for al fresco dining in the summer. The porch offers various seating options, including a swing chair, a couch, and additional chairs, all with views of the expansive 100-foot front and side lawns. At the rear, there's a generous 15-foot deck furnished with lounge chairs and an outdoor ping pong table. The deck has a ramp for wheelchair access to the first floor. Nearby, an outdoor grill and a fire pit area await, ideal for s'mores and watching the stars at night. The ground floor is designed for large groups and features a vast living/dining space and a fully-equipped chef's kitchen with quartz countertops, multiple ovens and stove-tops, ready for preparing meals for a crowd. There are ample plates, platters, bowls, cutlery, and glassware for 24 guests. The elegantly decorated living room includes leather sofas, comfortable chairs, USM consoles, a large TV, and games for entertainment. Additionally, a 12-foot dining table can seat 18 people indoors. The residence contains seven spacious bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower and an extra half bath. Ascending the broad wooden staircase leads to six bedrooms, two full baths, and a half bath on the second floor. These bedrooms include 2 king beds, 3 queen beds, two twin bunk beds, and a fold-out futon couch. All beds are adorned with duvet covers, and each bedroom features ample closet space and USM dressers. The third floor boasts a spacious lounge with sectional couches, a daybed with a pull-out trundle, a large television, games, and bookshelves stocked with a diverse selection of books. Group yoga sessions are catered for with available yoga mats and blocks. The basement is equipped with a washer and dryer. In the summer there are Orthodox synagogues within 1/2 mile walking distance, including a Satmar bungalow colony less than half a mile away and a new Orthodox community with a shul. There is also a synagogue in town, aproximately 1.5 miles away. The town of Woodburn, which is less than five miles away, features several large kosher supermarkets and stores. Just half a mile down the road lies our family farm, home to sheep, a goat, donkeys, horses, and chickens that guests are welcome to feed. Adjacent to our home is a field brimming with blueberry bushes; come July, visitors are invited to pick these wild, succulent berries to their heart's content. Our property includes over 300 acres of woods crisscrossed by multiple hiking trails. The local country roads are ideal for cycling, albeit hilly, which also provides excellent sledding opportunities in winter. The Shawangunk Mountains, renowned for their hiking trails, are just a half-hour drive away. Close by, at a mere half-mile from the house, is an outdoor community pool located in the town park, and many streams in the area are stocked with trout for fishing in the spring (a New York State fishing license is required, available online). Nearby mountain lakes, such as Morningside Lake in Fallsburg and Starlight Marina in Monticello, offer boat rentals and additional amenities like community pools and platoon boats. The area is also rich in public golf courses. For those seeking a break from the great outdoors, Legoland, the Kartrite Water Park (New York's largest indoor water park), and the Resorts World Casino are all just a half-hour drive away. Woodbury Commons, featuring hundreds of outlet stores, is a 45-minute journey. Adventure seekers can enjoy river rafting, canoeing, tubing, or kayaking on the Delaware River with Lander's River Trips. Bethel Woods is just a 45-minute drive away. Holding Events at the Farmhouse: The house and grounds are also perfect for a large party or a wedding. The enormous side yard easily fits a tent and the 40' living/dining room is perfect for cocktails. Events and guests are not permitted without prior permission.
