Treat yourself to a premiere weekly, waterfront vacation experience in the heart of the 1000 islands. Enjoy the privacy and tranquil setting of our south shore Howe Island home. Settle into island time. Fish, bike, swim, play outdoor games or just relax in the hot tub. Two bedrooms in the main house and a detached bunkie will ensure everyone has their own space. With Kingston only a short ferry ride away some can stay, and some can head to the city for the day! The space We provide lots of fun outdoor games for you to enjoy during your stay (cornhole etc.). Listing price is based on 6 guests. We can accommodate up to 8. Guests beyond 6 and up to 8 will be charged an additional 15 per guest per night. Guest access Most of the property will be yours. The Garage, the boat, the boat lift, and the seadoo lift are the only "off-limit" areas. Other things to note Maintenance people may come to the home for a short time during your stay to perform regular maintenance (lawn care etc.). There are two ferries. The larger one on the west side of the island, the smaller one is on the east side. Both ferries run 24/7 at a cost of $10 per round trip. There is a fire pit available for use. You can purchase firewood on the island, in Kingston, or in Gananoque. Two kayaks are available. For hygienic reasons we do not supply life jackets. If you plan to use the kayaks, please be sure to bring some with you.
