Downtown Converted Barn, quick walk to everything!

Once a barn, this apartment is open and light. High ceilings, wide plank floors, and thick beams are reminders of its former barn life. Located right downtown in the hamlet of Schroon lake, it's a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the public town beach. Kid and pet friendly - we're ready to welcome your family to enjoy a stress-free stay! 2 bedrooms can sleep up to 6 guests, and two full baths make it easy for a group to stay. The space FIRST FLOOR — The living room has an electric fireplace to warm you up on cool evenings, and a Smart TV that looks like a painting when not on. The open dining area includes seating for up to 8 in a spacious room with high ceilings and a cozy reading nook off to the side. A highchair is available. The Kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and fully supplied to accommodate all of your cooking, serving and coffee needs. In addition to the major appliances, some smaller appliances are available for your use: an instant pot, crock pot, toaster oven, popcorn maker, pasta machine, Anova sous-vide, and Kitchen Aid mixer. There is a coffee pot and a hot pot for tea. Right off the kitchen is a pantry room, storing the smaller appliances, cleaning supplies, and the washer/dryer. The master bedroom is on the main floor, with one king bed and a large TV. This room has a window unit air conditioner. There is a bathroom with shower on the first floor. SECOND FLOOR— The second level has a bedroom containing a two twin beds. This room has a portable Air conditioner. The loft area serves as an office space, and can accommodate an airbed for up to 2 more guests. The desk area is a perfect workspace, along with a color laser wireless Airprint printer. There is no air conditioner for this space, although there is a large bank of windows to let in the cool night air. A second bathroom with full tub is on the second floor. OUTDOOR SPACES — The front porch has two Adirondack chairs for seating, so you can watch the town pass by. The side deck features four adirondack chairs, a fire pit, an outdoor table with benches, and a charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking/eating needs. Blueberries, blackberries, and grapes grow all around the yard! OTHER NOTES: our off street parking is plentiful, and you'll be able to use 2 spaces at no charge. A cooler, beach umbrella, and beach chairs are provided for your use. We're happy to welcome your small children and pets! The living room contains a large toy chest available for your use. Guest access You'll be able to access all the main areas of the apartment, except for the art studio, which will be closed off. If you'd like to access the art studio or fiber arts equipment during your stay, please contact us and we're happy to arrange that access!
