Have been hosting for over 20 years. Our fully furnished older home provides guests with a home away from home. We provide weekly, one load, laundry service (no self washer available)There are also laundry services that you can contract with. Centrally located in Irvine which is adjacent to Tustin, Anaheim, Newport Beach, Orange, Laguna Hills and easily accessible to the beach and John Wayne Airport. With many parks and dedicated biking and hiking trails, Irvine is GREAT FOR A EXTENDED VISIT. The space Pleasant, unusual old home filled with memorabilia from around the world...centrally located in Orange County, CA...2 hours from San Diego & 1-1/2 hours from L.A. You'll find Irvine, which is rated one of the safest cites of its size in the United States, to be a welcoming place for either a short stay or a longer visit. Whether your trip is for business, pleasure or a combination of both, we can assist you in finding venues of interest to make it memorable experience. Guest access 1. Completely furnished 2. Free Internet access. Very fast. 3. Laundry - one load washed gratis per week and returned within 24 hours. Maid service can be contracted directly with independent service provider. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. 11. Quiet hours between 9:00 and 8:00 am. 12. Government ID required for check-in. 13. For safety, there are video cameras monitoring outside and common areas for entry. We have a Ring doorbell. There are no cameras in private guest areas. Adjacent properties have cameras and motion detection lights. 14. We observe Covid protocols for our safety and well-being. 15. We recommend travel insurance. 16. Please provide renters insurance which can be easily accessed on line or often through you car insurance provider. During your stay We enjoy assisting our guests find venues of their interest. Having lived in Irvine many years and we are well acquainted with the best that it offers. I teach English and culture at the nearby library. This house has accommodated people from throughout the United States and 64 countries! Other things to note We will attempt to accommodate special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, and kosher by directing you to available sources. Do to Irvine's international nature, there are many restaurants and events available that highlight many cultures, nationalities, and faiths. Please be aware of Irvine’s recent rural nature and don’t be surprised to see various critters; opossums seem to like our property and we like them. They eat insects :-) as does our little lizards. We once counted 13 rabbits in our driveway and a ferrel cat gave birth under our porch. The University of California at Irvine has as its mascot, an anteater. We are not hermetically sealed.
