Mini Resort Nestled in the Sierra Foothills

Private guest quarters. Kitchen with stove and oven, dining counter, dining area, living room with big screen TV, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath indoors and a full bath outdoors. Spa, Pool, Waterfalls, gardens, fire pit, and many entertainment areas for a full range of family fun. All in the forest but only 1.5 miles to I-80. About an hour to Tahoe, close to the charming downtown areas of Auburn, Grass Valley, and Nevada City. Many lakes, rivers and recreation areas are very nearby. Ski resorts 45 min! The space There is something for everyone here. You can hang out and enjoy peacefulness by the garden or the pool or enjoy the forest. We have noodles for floating away the day. The jump rocks and grotto are also especially popular. Enjoy a camp fire at the fire pit and don't forget to bring your fixin's for S'mors. The neighborhood is very nice for walking and there are trails less than 2 miles away at the Weimar Institute that go on for miles. If you like lake activities, Rollins Lake is about 8 minutes away. Boating/skiing/ kayaking, etc. During the colder months (usually Nov-mid April) the pool will be cold and some features may not be operational, such as outdoor bath and waterfalls. You may want to limit the number of guests during that time as there is only one bathroom. During the late summer the fire pit may not be usable due to fire danger in area. Guest access You will have access to the entire outside of property. It is shared space but our use will be limited to accommodate your pleasant stay. The guest quarters is a separate downstairs unit with it's own entrance. There is parking for 3 cars. It's a very safe and friendly neighborhood. Our property is surrounded by open land with a few neighbors. Sound travels easily and far so soft music at the pool is acceptable. Sounds of laughter and fun are welcome aside from quiet hours. There are great views of the forest. Other things to note As a precaution, I'd like to point out a few things about the pool so that our guests have the correct expectations and best enjoyment: 1. The pool is extremely clean and we made sure that the water is quite stable and will remain so when you arrive here. 2. Our strong recommendation is that guests take a shower before entering and using the pool. There are 2 Outside showers available ( one is enclosed within the Outside Bathroom unit and the other is an Open outdoor shower ). 3. I'd like to also note that the maximum number of pool users would be the number of guests that you have signed up with and no more. 4. The rules do not permit outside invitees/visitors to use the pool ( only staying-in guests ). 5. The pool is not available for use after dark ( i.e. after sunset) 6. The rules also do not permit the use of excessively loud music at the pool. We are in a forest setting and inclined to respect the sounds of nature. 7. No pets are allowed on premises, except for licensed service animals. 8. Finally, Wednesday is pool maintenance day and we are putting chemicals into the pool on that day. Pool would be open in the morning only and until 12:00 noon. Pool will not be available until the next day after maintenance.
