MOUNTAIN ABODE TINY HOUSE

The Mountain Abode is the perfect getaway! Surrounded by nature with easy access from the main highway. Just a short drive to the casino, shopping, dining, and surrounding outdoor activities! You can unplug if you want to, but if you need to be connected, we have super fast fiber optic internet! You'll find comfort and style inside, with a cozy living room with a ROKU/Smart TV, and kitchen with full size appliances, and spa-like shower in the bathroom with rain shower head and body jets. The space Small space, big style in this beautiful mountain abode! We brought the outside in with touches of nature throughout. Cabin touches without being too "cabiny". LIVING ROOM: The living room has comfy modern furniture and a cozy stack stone electric fireplace with a ROKU/Smart TV. KITCHEN: Full size appliances include a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, toaster, dishes and cooking utensils. Salt, pepper, other spices are provided, along with paper towels, aluminum foil, and zip lock bags. Everything you need to cook in your home away from home. EATING AREA: High top table with 2 swivel bar stools, and 2 folding TV trays to pull up to the sofa or chair. BEDROOM: The space includes a queen size bed with 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. Extra pillows and blankets are provided. Outlets with USB ports on each side of the bed for keeping your phone charged. LOFT: There are 2 sleeping mats in the loft. The head-room is low, so this space is more suitable for kids to camp out in! BATHROOM: Enjoy the walk-in shower "experience" with full body shower jets and rain shower head. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and toilet paper provided. COVERED PORCH/DECK AREA: 2 bentwood rocking chairs and outdoor table and chairs. OUTDOOR AREAS: *Outdoor Soaking Tub!!! *Fire pit and chairs (firewood provided but you might have to split it..bring your own axe!) *Charcoal grill for cooking out NEARBY THINGS TO DO: There are lots of opportunity for tubing, boating, fishing, and rafting (Nantahala River, Ocoee River, Fires Creek, Little Brasstown Creek, Lake Hiwasee, Lake Chatuge, Lake Nottley). If you're a mountain biker, there's Hanging Dog Mountain Bike trail in Murphy, and a short drive to Jack Rabbit Mountain Bike Trail & hiking in Hayesville, Tsali Recreation Center in Bryson City, and Aska Trails in Blue Ridge GA . THE AREA: Murphy is the perfect "base" to explore many surrounding outdoor adventures, including hiking trails, motorcycle routes, scenic mountain drives, along with several rivers and lakes. Historic downtown Murphy is less than 10 minutes away with many restaurants, unique shops, bookstore, and the Murphy River Walk. Harrah's Valley River Casino is about 10 minutes away! You can also go gem mining, fly fishing, rafting, tubing, horseback riding and much more. It's the perfect starting point for all your mountain adventures! Surrounding towns: Hayesville, NC; Blue Ridge, GA; Bryson City, NC; Hiawassee, GA; Blairsville, GA; McCaysville, GA; Copperhill, TN; Franklin, NC; Clayton, GA. Guest access Guest will "self check-in" with a keypad lock. Other things to note -Check-in is anytime after 3pm. -The door code is the last 4 digits of your phone number, then press the # sign. NOTE: lightly touch the keypad to get it to light up BEFORE entering your code, or it will not recognize the first digit. -The porch string lights are on a time and should come on at dusk and stay on for 6 hours. -We have had an extremely dry season, so please use the firepit with caution. -The outdoor tub is sanitized and covered between each stay, but please know that since it is outside, winds may blow the cover off and debris may get inside the tub.
