A short 300 meters away, you will find the Thursday Night Market with lots of street food as well as beautiful work from local artisans. A further 300 meters down the road is where downtown Tamarindo begins with a multitude of shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Downtown Tamarindo is compact and lively at all hours. During the day and especially at sunset, the beach is where you want to be, there are many restaurants/bars to enjoy! You do not need a car in Tamarindo, everything is within walking distance. There are many options for rentals or hire if you’re looking to explore the beautiful country. No smoking condo and complex. Please go outside the gates to smoke. Water is safe to drink from tap. Please avoid flushing anything down toilets. Please run air conditioner in bedrooms only at night. Electricity is very expensive. We have a water tank, but when city water is periodically shut off please use water sparingly. When city water is off the tank will typically last 2-3 days.
