Our place is a short drive to SoCo’s hip restaurants & shops, Barton Springs, Rainey St, only 4 miles from Downtown, SXSW & ACL events. You’ll love our home for the location & comfort. It's cozy & spacious in a quiet neighborhood w/ easy access to Austin's exciting attractions. Have a great nights sleep on a luxurious Organic latex bed, enjoy your breakfast on the deck or relax in the hammock. Morning Latte is on the house! Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. The space You will have a private bedroom for 2 with a plush organic latex queen bed and bathroom just across the hall (the bathroom is not attached to bedroom but close by). There is a pull out sofa bed for 2 more in shared living room (for extra fee and upon request only), not private but we will respect the privacy of this area as much as possible. The remaining house and large kitchen is shared space. Morning latte is on the house. Omelet's or meals can be prepared by your host with organic vegetables from our garden and fresh eggs upon request for a modest fee . The feel of the house is spacious, warm and tranquil with lots of natural light pouring in. Cozy and spacious at the same time. Outdoor deck has ambient lights, table, lounge chairs and hammocks. Please note we do have a sweet cat that will be fed by hosts with chickens that free range part of day or stay in their coop. This is our private home so it has been loved and cared for. Because it is not primarily a rental property it will not be as sparse as a typical rental. There will be some belongings on counter and shelf spaces, but we hope it will add to the overall charm and warmth. Guest access You will have access to frontyard, backyard and deck, a private bedroom and bathroom. The living space and kitchen will be shared with my husband (I will be out of town). We are quiet and considerate, and will always accommodate your needs. During your stay My husband and I will be available for any of your needs and can be reached by phone at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). On certain occasions, there may be only one of us here to host you. We will respect your privacy and space and also offer only as much interaction and hospitality as you would like. Please also note that we do not overlap guests, so if you book up to 4 people the place is yours and you don't need to worry about secondary guests in the house. Other things to note We have 1 cat and 12 chickens that will not be the responsibility of the guests, but feel free to give them love. We have hardwood and bamboo floors which tend to be soft, please avoid dragging anything over the floor to avoid scratches. No shoes are preferred although not required. We offer tea & organic coffee on the house. Morning gourmet omelets from our hens and specially prepared meals are offered for a modest fee.
