Built in 1929, this charming three bedroom upper apartment still has most of it's original architectural details, including ornate plasterwork and hardwood floors. Located a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Detroit, a few minutes to hip, walkable downtown Ferndale, or within walking distance to the Avenue of Fashion. It has easy access to major freeways, putting you in an ideal location to explore the Metro Detroit area. Guests can enter the apartment using a keypad for the front door, and then will have keys to access the upper apartment. There is a covered front porch with chairs for any smokers. We live in the lower apartment with our pugs Alfredo and Disaster Claire. Irene works from home in her studio and is available if needed. Located in the Bagley neighborhood, close to the Avenue of Fashion we are seeing a recent surge of development and activity. We are located close to major freeways and one block from a bus stop.
