L178 // Duplex #1 - National Museum + Rooftop

Stay in a Luminous & spacious duplex appartement, right in the heart of the historical area of Phnom Penh. Our building has been freshly renovated and is located in a small pedestrian lane where cars cannot access. Only 40m from the National Museum, 200m from the riverside, 300m from the Royal Palace. The space This property is a mini duplex apartement located in a small building recently renovated at the 2nd (living room+kitchen) and 3rd (bedroom& bathroom) floors. Living Room. The living room features a large & comfortable sofa, a LED TV, as well as a dedicated working space. Kitchen. In the kitchen you will find a fridge, a mini gas stove, an oven, a kettler, a toaster , a rice cooker & some cooking basics. Bedroom & Bathroom. To access to the bedroom or the bathroom you can either use the main staircase (wider and much easier to climb) or the ladder inside the unit (quite steep but more private). Privacy. There are only 3 unit in our building (a studio on the first floor, the actual duplex on the 2nd & 3rd floors, and another duplex on the 4th & 5th floors) so you would barely bump into other tenants. Please keep the main entrance locked at anytime. Guest access The groundfloor and the rooftop are common space that you can enjoy. The GF is used as a storage space where you you can store a bike or your suicases. There you will aslo find a washing machine, please feel free to use it (as long as you provide your own detergent/soap) The Rooftop is on the 6th floor but the view over the city worth the climb. Definitely a good work out ! Other things to note Noise Pollution. In Cambodia especially in Phnom Penh noise pollution is a real thing. Luckily We are located in a small pedestrian lane in the heart of the heritage area where only motorcycles and tuk tuks can access. In our neighbourhood people are nice & friendly although they might make some noise especially if they are celebrating something. They would usually stop and go to bed early. Best etiquette would be to talk to them, it's also ok share a drink or a bite and socialize with them. Garbage management. You are expected to store your garbage in the garbage in plastic bags, please keep them dry (it is important not to throw any liquid in those bags). Once full please bring them to the green containers located on Street 178, only a few meters from our property. Recycling is becoming a common practice : spare cans and cartons can be recycled, you can store them separately.
