The space The street-level entrance leads up a circular staircase to the first floor, where you’ll find a bathroom with WC, the spacious living area (equipped with airconditioning), and a bright kitchen and dining space with French windows opening onto a balcony. Upstairs, the bedroom, (equipped with airconditioning), opens onto two terrace levels: the first features a Moroccan lounge, rooftop garden, and dining table, while the upper terrace offers a seating area with panoramic views over the Ria Formosa and the islands. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, including the bedroom, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and terraces. The house is located in a historic pedestrian area, offering a peaceful setting while still being close to the heart of Olhão. Free parking is available nearby. Other things to note The house is over 120 years old and is a classic example of traditional Portuguese architecture. Please note there is no elevator—access to all floors is by staircase. We recommend packing light for a comfortable stay. The layout is as follows: a spiral staircase leads to the first floor; stairs continue to the second-floor bedroom and terrace; and further stairs take you up to the rooftop terrace for stunning views. During the winter season (November–March), an additional €8 per day applies for using the underfloor heating and air-conditioning, so please let us know when booking if you would like to have them during your stay. All guests must provide a passport or ID photo (or written information) for registration with the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF/AIMA) All guests are kindly asked to pay the tourist tax prior to check-in. In Olhão, the tax is mandatory and must be settled before arrival. The rate is €2 per person per night from May to October, and €1 per person per night from November to April, up to a maximum of 5 nights per person. Children under 16 are exempt.
