Birds galore..All sorts of wild critters live in these woods: Foxes, rabbits, turtles, raccoons, deer, wild turkeys, possum and others. You will be isolated in Nature in all her glory...but still within 10 minutes drive to cute coffee shops, antique stores, chic restaurants... All Four Seasons are quiet and beautiful. Flowers popping out. Leaves changing color. Snow in winter. Guest access Skyloft Airbnb guests have access to a large lovely natural pond with flowering plants, great weeping Willows, and abundant pond life including small mouth bass, large catfish, many types of frogs and turtles. Mallard ducks and Canadian Geese nest on the islands. The pond area is accessed by wqlking down the driveway , taking a right at the RED mailbox and down the hillside to the first RIGHT on a path to the 5 acre meadow and pond. Additionally there is a large wooden deck with umbrella, chaise lounge, table and chairs, fire-pit and picnic table. In the springs and summer months, swarms of fireflies on the large meadow light up the sky, followed by the nighttime canopy revealing starry nights, constellations and the planets visible to the naked eye. It is a luxurious place to immerse yourself in nature, observe the sunset and contemplate in total privacy. Other things to note ❄️ Winter Safety Note Pathways & Ice: We strive to keep all walkways and parking areas clear. However, surfaces can become slippery quickly. Please use caution when walking to/from your car. Sand & Shovel: For your use between professional clearings, we’ve provided a shovel and sand located at your entrance. Please feel free to use these if you notice any spots becoming slick. Maintenance: If the snow or ice becomes unmanageable, please message us immediately so we can send our maintenance team to assist! Cooking equipment includes an outdoor gas grill all year long, an induction cooktop with Cuisinart pots and pans, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, and a toaster, Our water comes from a well, so please be conservative. We have two security cameras on the driveway. Because we think these things are personal, we do not provide coffee, bath soap, shampoo or tooth paste; please bring your own toiletries. Pets are charged an additional $65 per pet per stay.
