Old characterful farmhouse of 1850 stone and rammed (180m2), quiet in the countryside, 500m above sea level, mountain view, 1000m2 of land, 2 terraces (south and west), garden. 7 min from Lake Aiguebelette, and 2 min from Novalaise, 20 min from Chambéry, 40 min from Annecy, 50 min from Lyon, 1 hr 15 min from Chamonix Mont-Blanc, 1 hr 30 min from Courchevel. Ideal place for lovers of serenity, swimming and water activities, walks... The space The house is made of stone and adobe. It has the advantage of staying cool in summer. We have carefully restored our house, favoring natural and ecological materials. ON THE GROUND FLOOR: - 1 entrance with laundry area: clothes rack, ironing board and iron, clothes dryer, washing machine (the screen is out of order but we will explain how to do without simply), coat racks... - 1 fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas stove, espresso machine (no pods but a percolator), kettle, immersion blender...). - 1 living room with large sofa, TV and Wi-Fi, desk and computer, piano and indoor games for children. - 1 bathroom with bathtub. - 1 powder room. UPSTAIRS: - 1 relaxation hall with reading area (sofa, library, desk and computer). - Bedroom 1: charming master bedroom of 28 m2 with cathedral ceiling and exposed beams (1 high-end bedding of 180*200). NB: Independent bedroom. Accessed through bedroom 2. - Bedroom 2: 1 baby bed Room closed by an opaque curtain. Private access to shower room and toilet. - Bedroom 3: charming room (parquet, ceiling beams, antique furniture...) for two people (1 bedding 140 * 190). - Bedroom 4: for two people with 1 bunk bed (2 mattresses of 90*190). - Bedroom 5: for 1 person (1 standard single bed 90*190). - 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. - 1 powder room. - 1 balcony. NB: We have 3 standard size baby/toddler beds (child up to 3-4 years): - 1 crib - 2 folding cribs. Each bedroom can accommodate a crib. Guest access You'll have access to the entire living space (no access to the barn). We do not allow pets. We have two cats (who come and go) but who do not come into the house. Don't worry, they'll be fed by our neighbor. We also have two chickens. You can pick up their fresh eggs every morning in exchange for good care ;-) = water and grain, basic cleaning of the laying area. For children, we have a swing, an outdoor wooden house and a sandbox.
