The space ■ Five bedrooms for up to 15 guests The private guest floor has five bedrooms: ・Bedroom 1 “Uzu”: Japanese-style room with 3 futon sets ・Bedroom 2 “Kasa”: 2 bunk beds ・Bedroom 3 “Hasu”: 2 bunk beds ・Bedroom 4 “Sasa”: 1 queen bed ・Bedroom 5 “Kurage”: 1 queen bed The accommodation sleeps up to 15 guests. The renovated interiors preserve a warm, nostalgic atmosphere inspired by Japan’s Showa era. ■ Cook and eat together Many restaurants in Yumoto Onsen are small, so groups of more than 10 people may find it difficult to dine together without a reservation. The accommodation has an open kitchen and a spacious dining area, giving your group the option to buy groceries, cook, and enjoy meals together. The kitchen includes a two-burner IH cooktop, rice cooker, large pots and pans, knives, cutting boards, mixing bowls, and other cookware. Tableware, glasses, chopsticks, cutlery, and basic seasonings are also available. Children’s tableware can be provided. A large-capacity rice cooker for group meals is available with advance notice. Breakfast is included with your stay. ■ Experience the local hot springs There is no bathtub in the guest accommodation. It has one shower and three toilets. Guests normally bathe at Sahako-no-Yu, a natural hot spring public bath just 30 seconds away on foot. Several ryokan within walking distance also offer day-use bathing. After check-in, we can advise which baths are available based on their current schedules. Bathing fees are not included in the accommodation rate. Shampoo and other bathing products can be borrowed free of charge. Towels are available for a fee. ■ Suitable for longer stays A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge, making the accommodation practical for stays of several nights or longer. JR Yumoto Station is about a 9-minute walk away. Iwaki-Yumoto Interchange and Spa Resort Hawaiians are each about 10 minutes away by car. Guest access You will have private use of the entire guest floor on the second floor of the building. In principle, only guests included in the reservation may use this floor. The first floor operates as a restaurant and is not part of the private guest area. The accommodation is accessed by stairs. Other things to note Sahako-no-Yu is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (last admission at 9:00 p.m.). It is closed on the third Tuesday of each month (or the following day when that Tuesday is a public holiday) and on January 1. Temporary closures and opening hours may change, so please check the latest information before visiting. Guests with tattoos may use Sahako-no-Yu. Admission to Sahako-no-Yu and day-use baths at local ryokan is not included in the accommodation rate. Fees and conditions vary by facility. As many restaurants in the onsen town are small, groups of more than 10 people should reserve in advance. We can help with dining suggestions. Cooking and eating together at the accommodation is another practical option for large groups. Deep-frying with large amounts of oil is not permitted. Kitchen cleanup and waste-sorting instructions are provided at check-in. The building has sound-insulated construction, so group meals and normal lively conversation are welcome. Loud music, smoking indoors, and any activity that damages or heavily soils the building or its furnishings are prohibited. Registration Details Hotels and Inns Business Act | いわき市保健所 | いわき市指令第36748号
