Enchanting, spacious 4-bedroom Languedoc house

Vrbo

Charming, comfortable and spacious old French house in a quiet Cathar village.

Description

Nestled in the heart of a quiet, picturesque village in the foothills of the French Pyrenées, this four-bed village house will seduce any francophile. Retaining all its traditional Gallic charm, the house offers 4 spacious bedrooms, a large sitting-room and an airy French kitchen with a long (original) table to accommodate groups intent on sampling local produce. Hills, mountains, and attractions like the beautiful market town of Mirepoix, or medieval Carcassonne are under an hour's drive away. The space L'Ancien Hotel is an old and spacious house, with quirks that you'd expect from a 300-year-old building. The rooms have been charmingly renovated and redecorated. For colder months, there is a wood-burning stove, gas heater and electrical heaters. Two hot water boilers mean there is no shortage of hot water. Guest access Guests can access all rooms in the house, except for two junk rooms on the top floor. Other things to note Sheets and towels are provided. Each bed has a mosquito net.
