Looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city? Our Glamper is a simple place to camp for a couples get-away, small family get-away, or the weekend hunting trip....a place to enjoy Hill country sunsets , gaze at the wide open starry skies, and breathe in good ole’ country air. We are located in Rio Frio, TX just up the road from the beautiful Frio River. Garner state park is only a few miles down the road. ***Property is not located on the river*** Wi-Fi is not reliable Sorry but No pets The space *Our Camper is the closest thing you can get to tent camping but with the luxury of having AC, kitchen, and a very small bathroom but it’s there! Camper is located behind our main home on 2.5 acres. There is a queen sized bed on one side of the camper. On the other end of the camper is a twin sized bed with a cot sized bunk above it. There is a small table and chairs right outside along with a smoker if you’d like to bbq . You’ll just need to bring some firewood , or charcoal and lighter fluid. The views from the camper are hills in the distance, and we get some gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. *Linens are provided and will be folded and placed on the bed * Please note that when using more than one electrical outlet at a time, it’s possible for the breaker to go out. Some guests, turn the heat / AC off while using the coffee machine or microwave to prevent this from happening, but if it does—no worries!! The breaker switch is below the fridge and all you have to do is flip it back on. If that doesn’t work, shoot us a text, or call and we will come over and get you back up and running. Guest access You’ll have your own private entrance and parking space directly in front of camper. Other things to note It is the country, so be prepared to possibly see bugs, lizards, skunks, deer, rabbits, lots of birds chirping, and the occasional welcoming bark of our miniature Schnauzer “Diesel” and chihuahua "Reba" .My husband and I have three children and we often hang out BBQing or swimming in the back yard during the evenings and summer days, but we try to keep our noise level down in the evenings to give you more privacy. During the winter months there is some potential for noise as my husband has hunters and they have to use the nearby barn for deer cleaning. Feel free to play your music outside and have a great time! Cell signal is limited. Sometimes you’ll be able to get internet signal outside on the porch area or under the shaded seating area. AT&T / Verizon is usually the only cell phone provider that will work in this area.
