This suite is in the 1860's Sea Captain's house of Acadia’s Oceanside Meadows Inn which stands on a 200 acre private nature preserve at the head of Sand Cove five minutes from Acadia Nat'l Park at Schoodic. Gracious Rooms and Gourmet Buffet Breakfast. The space This suite spans the Sea Captain's house and has views both over the private sandy beach and up to the meadows behind the house. It has a king sized bed and private bathroom with its own living room area as well as a room adjoining with two twin beds, ideal as a dressing room if you are not traveling with children. Guest access Our historic inn established in 1820 is situated on 200 acres with miles of trails, a beautiful private sand beach and the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep at night. Join us for croquet on the lawn; relax in the flower gardens or curl up by the open fireplace in the 1860's Sea Captain's house large ocean view living room stocked with books and parlor games. There is a country kitchen in our 1820's farmhouse accessible to all guests where light meals can be prepared. To accommodate guests with Vegan, Vegetarian and Kosher diets all meat, fish and dairy products are to be prepared outside on the deck where we have a large barbecue and burner set up. The property is also home to the Oceanside Meadows Institute for the Arts and Sciences situated across the garden in a beautiful 1820's timber framed hall, home to a full sized Steinway D Piano and a wonderful series of concerts and lectures held throughout the summer season that our guests love to attend. The room rate is for double occupancy additional adults are $35 and Children under five years old $10 per night and this includes their full gourmet breakfast and stay with us. The required 9% Maine State Lodging tax and charges for additional guests above the double occupancy rate will be made on arrival at the inn and can be billed to a major credit card.
