The Lodge at Camels: idyllic lodge on the Roseland

Welcome to The Lodge at Camels, a contemporary 4-sleeper (+2 dogs) lodge set in idyllic Cornish coastal countryside with stunning sea views. The Lodge is set within our private land in the small hamlet of Camels above the fishing village of Portloe, on the Roseland Peninsular. A new-build project completed in spring 2022, The Lodge was designed to be a well appointed, minimal and contemporary space flush with its exceptional natural surroundings. Follow us on IG @thelodgeatcamels The space The Lodge offers a peaceful space and utilises indoor-outdoor living to maximise its location; sea views to the Dobman Point can be enjoyed throughout the space and from its self contained garden and large decked area. It is finished to an exceptional standard, using local natural resources where possible to create a unique space, complemented by thoughtfully curated, functional interior pieces. Solar power and efficient appliances ensure contribute to environmental consciousness. The Lodge has a double bedroom with a king size bed and a twin bedroom, both of which enjoy sea views and 32’ Samsung smart TVs, two bathrooms with walk-in showers, a full kitchen, utility room with Samsung smart washer-dryer, an airy living space with a log burner and 60’ Samsung smart TV, fast broadband, outdoor shower, a large decked area with a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture, a contained, secure (dog friendly) garden and a gravel drive with parking for two cars. The downlit wrap-around decking allows access to the garden from both bedrooms, and French doors from the living area allow a seamless open-air experience. Guest access The Lodge is a fully contained private space set within our private land behind our home, accessed via a gravel drive with parking for two cars. Guests will enjoy full access to this dedicated space including the garden and decking, but are kindly reminded to close all gates surrounding the property and to remain within its boundaries whilst in to respect our space. Other things to note We are a dog-friendly stay, allowing 2 well behaved dogs. You must declare that you are bringing a pet when booking. Please add your dog to your booking when asked, as we do charge a small dog fee. The Lodge has a secure garden and outdoor shower, functional utility room and is in a perfect location for dog walking. We also provide dog towels and bowls. Our only requests are that no dogs are to be allowed on the furniture, that you clean up after your pet and keep dogs on leads when coming and going.
