Spacious 4- bedroom cottage in beautiful setting.

Welcome to Forest Edge Cottage - the perfect place to relax as a family. Sitting on a no-through road which leads into the forest, we are in a fantastic location to explore the outdoors. There are plenty of woodland walks straight from the doorstep and the New Forest itself is a 5 minute drive away. The sandy beaches of Bournemouth and Christchurch are 40 minutes in the car. Our peaceful setting boasts stunning views so come and unwind in the countryside. The space The back door leads into a spacious boot room which then leads onto the first downstairs toilet. From the boot room you will enter the large family kitchen with ample dining space, including a dining table and breakfast bar. It is fully equipped with all you will need for your stay. Large bifold doors lead onto the patio and garden. Here you can dine outside in the south-facing garden while enjoying the beautiful views and the horses and deer in the fields which surround the house. Nestled in the corner of the kitchen is a football table to enjoy at your leisure. From the kitchen you enter the study area and on to the family snug with a wood burning stove. In the dresser you will find children’s colouring/drawing bits and in the wicker chest are board games for the children or family fun. There is a TV with the apps Netflix, Disney+ and Now TV (you will need your own login to use these). The porch and front door lead from the snug. The second downstairs toilet is under the stairs and there is a utility room at the end of the hallway where you will find a washing machine. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, three have double beds (one with an en-suite) one has a single high sleeper. Our son loves his high sleeper, but if it is a little high for you, there is a futon which you can use instead, or you can use this for a second child. There are plenty of books, both for children and adults, for you to use during your stay. The family bathroom has a toilet, bath and seperate shower. There is also a towel rail and airing cupboard which heat up with the hot water. The front of the house has a large gravel driveway. Guest access You have the whole house to yourselves. There will be a locked door at the back of the house which is the room with most of our clutter in! We want the house to feel like a home from home and will leave out things we think you will enjoy or find useful e.g books, children's toys. Other things to note Please note we ask for no shoes upstairs, it's the only place with carpet. We found a few broken items when we returned last year. It is never a problem but please let us know if you do accidentally break something- we might be able to replace it while we are away. Many thanks.
