This newly renovated open home is a lovely 4 bedroom modified ranch with lots of space in an ideal location for visitors. The front boasts beautiful views of Boulder's iconic "Flatirons" while the back offers views to Davidson Mesa and the eastern horizon. Boulder’s popular Mesa Trail, leading Open Space and Mountain Parks trails is just up the street. Bike paths and buses are close by. For families we have a crib, lots of toys and an amazing elementary school playground out the back door. The space The main floor boasts an open living room, dining room and kitchen. There are three bedrooms, two of which are connected creating a suite with a bedroom and office/sitting room or two adjoining bedrooms with the doors between closed. The main bath has a tub/shower. The master bath has a shower. Our kitchen is complete with a cozy nook area, small eating bar and generous island work area. The centrally located dining room opens to a large deck. The lower level walks out to a patio and yard, has full-sized windows, a spacious bedroom, recreation room, kitchenette, laundry area and full bath. This house is child friendly in design and location. We have safety gates at the top of the inside stairs and the outside deck stairs. For visiting professionals, it is an easy bike or bus ride to the University of Colorado Boulder, NIST or NOAA, and a short hike to NCAR. This is a no-smoking, no-pet property. While you are here you are welcome to any space in the house, however, please be respectful that this is our home and remember that many of our our possessions will still be in the house.
