Perfect for those doing rotationals/clinicals or just visiting our nation's first capital. Only 4 blocks to the Septa Market/Frankford Line, known here as the "EL". Then one stop to University of Pennsylvania, two stops to 30th St Station and then a mere 5 minutes to Suburban station and Jefferson Station. Not too far from Clark Park farm market and very close to grocery stores (Aldi's is 6 blocks away), public transportation, restaurants and bars, coffee shops etc., a very up and coming neighborhood. It is on-street parking. You will need to park a few steps away near the cyclone fencing of Drexel's fields so you don't get a ticket. The area around the house is patrolled by drexel public safety, drexel police, philly police, penn police, penn public safety, university city ambassadors, etc. It is a 2 bedroom (a full/double bed in the back bedroom and a shikibuton floor mattress in the middle bedroom), 1 large bathroom with tub/shower, 1 powder room, living room, dining room and deck that is off the kitchen. The laundry is in the basement and the washer/dryer is nice and clean. The kitchen has been renovated and the rest of the house is as charming as it was in the early 1900s with original red pine flooring and all the rest. Our neighbors next door can answer any quick questions you may encounter. We are on the west side of the river, very close to the University of PA and Drexel University. There is always something going on here. You will never be at a loss for something to do. The neighborhood is diverse and there are a lot of delicious ethnic foods available both in grocery stores an restaurants. There are more homeowners on my block than renters and we look out for one another. That is something I really love about my block. Between buses, subways, trolleys, regional rail and Lyft and Uber, you will always find a way to get around......and that doesn't even include the shoe leather express.
