La Fattoria dei Castagni is a farmhouse in the woods 5 km from Lake Como. The property, in original stone from the 1800s, has been recently renovated and houses a total of three double bedrooms plus an apartment. The view of the surrounding woods and the valley will guarantee you tranquility and relaxation. As it is a farmhouse within the property, there are animals including goats, sheep and chickens. Sometimes sheep bleat or the rooster crows, keep this in mind before booking! The space The room has minimal, rustic furnishings, but with attention to detail. The wardrobe is exposed, the king-size bed is 45 cm high and the bathroom door is wooden with a latch lock from the inside. The main door is a small door with a window equipped with a blackout curtain. Guests have the option to use the breakfast room, shared with other guests, with independent access and not connected to the room from the inside. Breakfasts, consisting of juices, milk, coffee or tea, yogurt, cereals, fruit, homemade cakes and cookies will be managed by guests independently. Guest access The farmhouse is located within a property of about 30,000 square meters, of which 20,000 are woods. Guests are free to walk around as they please, always respecting the animals present. In the woods, it is common to see wild animals such as deer, foxes or squirrels. During your stay Access to the property is via self check-in with a lockbox. During the day, for most of the time, guests can find me at the farmhouse. When I am not present, I will be happy to provide any information via chat or phone necessary information. Other things to note The property is not recommended for those traveling by public transportation, without a car available. The area is not well served by public transport and taxis do not operate nearby. Make sure you reach us by car! The road to get to the property is unpaved and downhill for about 300 meters.
