Kirkton House, (Iolair Room)

Iolair is a lovely, spacious room with a double bed, single bed, large cupboard and private sink. Kirkton House, a listed 5 bedroom Manse, set in mature walled gardens & woodland with stunning views to open countryside in the peaceful hamlet of Cairnie, Huntly just off A96. A perfect location to explore the Scottish Highlands with easy access to wonderful beaches and the UK's largest National Park The Cairngorms. We are transforming Kirkton House into a Health & Wellbeing Retreat. The space Category B Listed building on the edge of the Forest with 8.5 acres of woodlands, ponds and river. Lots of birds, deer, rabbits, pheasants and more, great for wildlife enthusiasts. We have volunteers staying with us some of the time helping with the garden and work around the house and have 4 Air BnB rooms available in total. Rooms are listed as Kirkton House (Eala room) with one double bed and one single bed, Kirkton House (Eilid room) with one double and 2 single beds and Kirkton House (Heide room) with one double bed. We offer tea and coffee and jams in our large kitchen until 10am. Guest access Guests will have access to their bedroom, and shared bathroom. The bathrooms are solely for the use of guests. During your stay We are at the house during your stay and are happy to help with any queries you may have. Other things to note We have 2 whippets at the property, they are well behaved, very friendly and quiet but may bark if the door is knocked. Our elderly Bengal cat also lives in the house. We have chickens and roosters in the walled garden.
