This unit is fully stocked with eco friendly, all natural, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & body wash. There are some sanitary condiments to get you started, and of course the essentials like toilet paper, and paper towels, plus much more! Snowater resort is the closest place you can stay to the Mt. Baker Ski Area, and Artist Point. Among the nearest lodging to Mt. Baker and Artist point, this private unit boasts a beautiful new kitchen with natural wood cabinets, granite counter tops, and new appliances. With a maximum occupancy of 4 people, the bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a comfy queen size pull-out in the living room. There is a washer and dryer in the condo, and in addition to baseboard heat there’s a wood stove insert for cozy fires. Wood is available for purchase at the Snowater office or a minute away at Graham’s store in Glacier. Staged and stocked before your arrival by professionals, all the essentials are included such as toilet paper, paper towels, bed linens, bath towels, and more. There’s plenty of extra blankets and pillows to help you get cozy! Meticulously cleaned using non-toxic cleaners, we also provide earth friendly shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash and more. While indoors enjoy free unlimited wifi, movies, cards, games, books, and magazines. There is no cable, and no regular cell service in Glacier, but smart phone calls and texts can be made over the condo’s wifi. There is no shortage of things to do right outside your door in the Snowater Community: Walking trails that follow the Nooksack River Two indoor heated swimming pools, each with it’s own hot tub Indoor racquetball, ping pong, pool table, basketball and squash Indoor children’s play area Children’s outside playground on a huge grassy area 21 and over area Exercise room and sauna Huge yard and river access Covered bbq area with picnic tables Basketball Giant walk around chess board Large, paved fenced-in area for wheeled sports, remote control cars, etc Additionally there are hiking trails galore all around Glacier, many rivers and several lower elevation mountain hikes just a few miles away. Higher up in the Mt. Baker area you can find fresh mountain blueberries lining the hills of Artist Point in late summer. The Ski Area holds the world record for the most snowfall in one season, and is usually open from Thanksgiving until the middle of April, weather dependent. Nearby activities: Snowboarding, skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, mountaineering, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, bird watching, wildlife viewing, sightseeing, water sports, rocks, and fossils, local massage, wine tasting (Mt. Baker Vineyards), great food, and shopping. There is also a skate park. Hiking trails galore all around Glacier, many rivers and several lower elevation mountain hikes are just a few miles away. Guests have access to the entire private Suite, and also the clubhouses and all their amenities including the pools, hot tubs, gyms etc. At Serene Mountain Escapes, we are a very small, local, family run, management company completely run by myself and my husband. We are right here in the area full time. We are usually about 1-2 minutes away if you need something during your stay. We are always available by phone and email as well. Check in is generally done by a secure lock box so that you are free to check in whenever it's convenient for you rather than having to meet us at a certain time, however we are usually available to meet if you have troubles. This property is located inside Snowater Resort. There are many amenities some of which are listed above. Just to name a few, there are 2 year round, indoor, heated pools, and 2 hot tubs. There's an exercise room, playgrounds, two clubhouses, and many hikes, river access points, and mountain viewing areas around, plus much more! Once you have booked we are able to share our website with you where you can find links and more information about all there is to do in the area. We also provide a binder in the suite with information on things to do, and places to eat in the area. We are only a few minutes away should you need any help! Glacier is a remote mountain town, so there is not much for public transportation out this way. You can catch an Uber, or Lyft from the local Bellingham airport to get here if needed, but a rental car is highly recommended as Glacier is a small town, and there are not a lot of amenities within walking distance. During your stay, you may park your car for free at the resort where the suite is located. House rules: No smoking allowed! Quiet Hours are 10pm – 9am. Check-in is 4pm; check-out is 11am. Please inquire about other arrangements. Early arrival and late checkouts are only allowed with prior approval from us, and without approval are subject to fine. Please make sure you have your dates correct before booking. 50% of all fees are required at time of booking. Payment is due in full 60 days before your check in date. Washington state charges a 10.5% sales/ lodging tax on your booking. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age, and show valid ID. ONLY 2 MAX medium sized or smaller dogs are allowed and pets must be declared before arrival. No barking is allowed as this is a condo unit. It your dog is a barker please consider finding alternative lodging for either you or your pet. Thanks!
