Large house and separate cottage on one beautiful Sonoma County property in primo Wine Country. Drenched in views of vineyards and rolling hills, yet 10 minutes to downtown Sebastopol. Great for corporate off-sites, family reunions, yoga, meditation retreats. 4 bedroom home and beautiful guest house. This property can sleep up to 17. Good for groups that want to be close together yet have separate space as well. No parties! outdoor cameras at main home not facing hot tub or shower. THE MAIN HOUSE: (The Hidden Rose House). The three (plus study with futon) bedroom home has a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, including a six-burner 36 inch Italian oven and stove. There is an attached family room with great views, a wood burning stove and a 60 inch flat screen tv with cable, netflix, on demand, etc. There is also a formal dining room and a study downstairs with a full-size futon. Upstairs there is a master suite with nearly panoromic nature views, a king size bed, a sitting area with small table and small futon sofa that can fold down to accomodate a small child or two , a flat screen tv with cable etc. It also has its own bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is extremely large with a twin bed, queen over queen bunk bed and an organic comfy queen size futon bed, vineyard and farm views and a sitting area. The third bedroom is a smaller bedroom with a queen-size bed and also nice views of orchards. The fourth "bedroom" is our study which has a full-size futon with a very comfortable all organic wool and coil spring mattress. We also have a covered wrap around front porch and an over-sized back deck with areas of sunshine, areas shaded by wisteria and grape arbors, a hot tub, extra large Weber grill and quintessential wine country views. In the warm season the back deck is the perfect setting for an outdoor dinner or entertaining. In summer you can pick ripe fruit right off our trees and many veggies from the gardens. THE COTTAGE: (The Green Shutter Hotel) At the opposite end of the property with gardens in between stay in your own private wine country cabin with own kitchen, bathroom and yard and garden on a small, family farm. This cottage has been featured in various tv shows including "Tiny House Nation" and "Tiny House Hunters". The cottage is private with it's own yard and garden. The parking is right outside the cottage with no trails or steps to get to it. The cottage overlooks the farm and a eucalyptus grove. The cottage is fully insulated for even temperature. It is bright, private, modern rustic with open ceilings and a Vermont Castings vented gas fireplace. A flick of the switch and "voila" a beautiful, warm fire in the hearth. The bathroom has a glass shower, no tub. There is a queen-sized bed with the most comfortable mattress imaginable. There is also full-size organic wool and cotton coil futon sofa that sleeps two. We provide only the highest quality cotton towels and bedding. And, you can cook there. We have 2 burner stove and small convection oven, lots of pots, pans, etc. The guests have exclusive use of a private yard, with seating. There is a small garden attached where they can help themselves to strawberries, greens for a salad or whatever else may be in season. While we have dogs and cats on the property no animals are allowed in the cottage. Guests may not bring pets to the cottage to ensure it stays clean and allergen-free. Exception-the main house. Inquire if you have a pet you'd like to bring, and not a good place to stay for guests with pet allergies. We have dogs and our outdoor cats occasionally sneak in the main house. This is a really great property for groups who want to experience nature and an authentic Sonoma County country home experience. This is a place for groups who want to relax at night and listen to distant coyotes, frogs, crickets, cows, etc. while watching shooting stars. This is a place to wake up to beautiful light and views, a place for families to feel at home far away from home, casual and relaxed. While the houses will be spotless, stylish and comfortable, this is not a minted out corporate rental with the latest mid-century modern everything with manicured plantings and sodded lawns. It is a Sonoma County family homestead with the requisite scrubby, yet beautiful surroundings in summer and lush green overgrowth of winter. This is an organic property untouched by pesticides, herbicides, etc. This is a place that appreciates and showcases Sonoma's nature rather than trying to tame it. You may find fresh sunflowers from the field, tomatoes or greens from the gardens, a basket of gravenstein apples, an overgrowth of juicy blackberries up and down the driveway and surrounding the whole property. This property would please families or groups that want to relax together in a natural, private northern California, west Sonoma county setting. The beds are top notch as are the linens, cooking spaces, privacy, views and the warm welcome you will feel! There are three outdoor motion detector video cameras at the main house. One on back deck, two on exterior front of house. They do not overlook outdoor shower or hot tub. There are no indoor cameras. We recommend buying Airbnb insurance in case you need to cancel unexpectedly. the whole shebang is yours to enjoy. There is a bungalow at the very front of the property with tenants. This beautiful property is located in the Twin Hills area of Sebastopol. This desirable area is known for its rolling hills, apple orchards, vineyards and Christmas Tree farms. There are many beautiful walks to take right out the door. While you may feel far away from it all, downtown Sebastopol is less than a ten minute drive, and door to door we are twenty minutes to the beaches of Bodega Bay taking scenic back roads right from our neighborhood. We are also a short drive to three main wine tasting roads, the Russian River and Armstrong Redwood Forest. There are three main wine tasting routes nearby.For chardonnay and pinot noirs you can stay right in our appellation, the Russian River Valley, and Olivet Road to River Road for many small, family operated wineries. Many sparkling wines are from this area as well. In Healdsburg there is Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys for merlots, zinfandels and cabernet sauvignon. All of these and more are nearby. Right in Sebastopol there is Iron Horse Vineyards, Lynmar, Balletto, Russian River Vineyards, Dutton Family Wines, Taft Winery and many more. There is no public transportation in our rural neighborhood. There are many Uber drivers in the area, and the house has cards of private drivers. We are only ten minutes by car to downtown Sebastopol. This is a place to relax and enjoy the quiet countryside. It is not a good place for loud parties. Also, guests have been tending to bring larger and larger groups. We are on septic and have neighbors. Please no more than 17 guests. Also please note Sonoma county rules require relative quiet after 9 PM and absolutely no amplified music. We have recently installed Blink video camera outside the home. We made sure it does not face the hot tub or outdoor shower. There are none inside the homes. We like to know a little bit about the groups who are staying.
