We can welcome 2 guests to our home in either one room or, a room each. You'll have your own bathroom plus a breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast & croissants. Many beautiful fells & 7 lakes can be reached in 20-40 mins drive (see photos) & St Bees beach is 15mins drive - great for sand & sunsets! This is the QUIET side of the Lakes with superb walking & scenery but no public transport so you will NEED A CAR! We're well placed for the first/last stage of the coast-to-coast walk. The space Ours is a large detached house on a very quiet private road with lots of trees and birds and the occasional red squirrel spotted in the garden! Both double bedrooms are spacious with a TV. Room 1 has a mini fridge and kettle. Next door is the bathroom for your exclusive use with both shower and bath and toiletries. If you are not a couple, we can accommodate you in 2 different bedrooms but you would need to share the bathroom. NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR USE OF BOTH BEDROOMS. Guest access Guests do not need to be confined to their bedroom! After a days walking or exploring, you are welcome to relax in our large, comfortable conservatory or, weather permitting, sit on our summerhouse chairs and relax to the sound of birds and sheep in our secluded, extensive garden...both spaces that we use too. We have ample parking space on our drive and a lockable garage for bikes. Other things to note If you are doing the coast-to-coast walk, we may be able to provide transport to and from either Ennerdale Bridge or St. Bees for an extra cost. Please discuss this with us in advance. We are also happy to recommend walking routes - of varying lengths and difficulties - as well as pubs etc.
