Casita de Sandoval
Casita de Sandoval
Description
We are located in a cul-de-sac in the suburbs of Chula Vista. The communities in this area have been voted the best communities in San Diego County for many years. Our home was built in 2004. Our home is less than 30 minutes from Petco Park, a must-see San Diego attraction, located in the heart of Downtown San Diego. There are many great things to do in San Diego, & most attractions can be reached in about 30 minutes from our home, depending on the time of day. The space Our Casita de Sandoval was originally our daughter's bedroom, & is located in the front portion of our home. We added a private entrance to the room, & locked off the two doors that access the other parts of the house. The room is bright, with a private bath, coffee nook & a great deal of storage for your clothing, shoes & luggage. There is a queeen size bed in the room, and the sofa in the room contains a twin-sized pull-out bed. This bed can only be used when the reservation is made for three guests, as it requires additional time for cleaning and set-up. There are light switches located on the wall next to the mini refrigerator. Do not turn those off. Please use the fan remote to control the fan speed and the overhead light (part of the fan). There is a container of purified water on the refrigerator. If you need to refill the water purifier, you can use water from the bathroom sink. We have a very good water softener system and the tap water is drinkable even without the purifier. All faucets provide water that has gone through the softener system. There are dishes and flatware for four, located in the cabinet that’s located across from the foot of the bed in front of the stationary side of the French doors. In case you're staying several nights and having several meals, making it necessary to reuse dishes, there is dish soap, a sponge and a dish towel located beneath the bathroom sink, on the left side. There are beach towels in the closet along with extra blankets. The ironing board and iron, along with water for the iron, in the closet as well. There is a blow dryer under the sink, to the right, as well as feminine supplies, extra tissues, extra toilet paper, and extra make-up removal wipes (please remove makeup prior to taking a shower). We are redoing our front yard; this project has been in hold since Lori injured her arm. We apologize for it only being about 1/4 finished. Guest access Currently, guests have everything needed in the room: full bathroom, queen bed, sofa, TV, microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator. There are dishes/flatware for four. We ask guests to park on the street, where there is typically plenty of parking. If we're not able to meet guests at check-in, the key will be made available in a lockbox that is on the left side of the French doors. The entrance to the Casita is through the right side of the French doors, and the door opens outward. The Casita is completely separated from the main house. During your stay We are immediately available via the Airbnb app, and normally respond within minutes. If for some reason I'm not able to respond quickly, guests may text or call Lori. You may see us as we come and go. Otherwise, you have complete privacy and we might not run into each other during your stay. We hope you have a great stay, even if we don’t get to meet face to face.☺️ Other things to note We have a journal on the small stand next to the bed. We love getting notes from our guests! However, we would also love to have all of our guests submit a review on Airbnb. :) Registration Details STR25-0092
