The space Tucked away in the tall trees of Humboldt county you will have peace and quiet with the smell of the fresh air never ending sound of the Salmon Creek River for a calming stay. We take pride in sanitation and cleanliness in our cabin and is cleaned and disinfected with every use for our customers security in trying to keep the place “Sparkling Clean’’ everyday. **the cabin is located behind and lower than the Main house so no real notice of people are apparent unless the need to contact one another. Otherwise, pretty private and secure knowing you are not just out in the Woods alone as we have a security dog out front and know when anyone arrives here un unannounced. We do have maybe a unique dish washing area and that it it just outside on the covered patio very close by to keep you not having to look at or wash dishes inside but works very well with hot and cold running water. *** Due to area location SOME , not all cell phone services can be a little faded but usually can be found closely by the cabin. You can always Use wi-fi cell service.. *** please try and arrive prior to 8 p.m as darkness of driving and checking in may be a little bit more difficult than normal, But always we will be here for you. ** note- NO SMOKING inside the rental, there is a large exterior covered deck and table for your use. A $ 250.00 cleaning fee will be charged for a smoking violation that-was made inside the cabin. Outside in designated areas, no problem. Guest access Parking is approximately 60 feet From entering the front door of rental plenty of free parking. Other things to note This area is magical!, not much more to say except a trip to shelter Cove is certainly a trip worth taking,about 1hr. 15 min. from here but truly magnificent views and restaurants..a great way to spend the day and see the Great Black sand beaches, one is pure sand to the south and the other is all pebbles to the North.. all beaches accessible by car and or by foot. Ferndale an early frontier village built in the late 1,800’s has kept its reputation of design and restoration up to date with old school design and has been the set for many motion pictures, a must see! Approximately 50 min. Drive from cabin. Plenty of street shopping and mixed restaurants to fulfill most peoples desires. The Pacific Ocean is about 10 minutes away from Ferndale, you can walk along the beach and breathe the fresh air and look for driftwood left behind.
