Private room and bath near subway

Our room is private and comfortable, containing a queen-size bed, dresser, and closet. It is spacious and discreetly sits at the back of the house. It is a short walk to the subway which will take you almost anywhere in the city. Safe, clean street. The space This space is in a newly renovated home. You will have access to a private room and private bathroom. There is central air to ensure that the temperature is always comfortable. If you are interested in touring Philadelphia, the subway (the el!) is in walking distance from our house, or you can catch the bus across the street. We are close to Penn and Drexel campuses and not far from various restaurants and shops. Guest access In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, we would like to share our living room and kitchen with you. We have space for your food in our refrigerator and you are welcome to use our other appliances, including our microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, and dishwasher. If you're here for a longer period of time, we are happy to share our washer and drier with you, too. (Please ask before use so we can be sure it’s available!) There is no television in the room but you are welcome to stream through your personal computer or share our TV room (located in the {finished} basement). During your stay We both work during the day but are home most nights and on the weekends. (Amanda is home during the summer.) We are on the quiet side, so we will respect your privacy. However, we love meeting new people so we would love to chat with you. We love to travel, especially within Philadelphia, so we have plenty of resources for you about your stay in this amazing city! Other things to note We have two cats who are well-behaved and clean. The guest room door is always kept closed so cat hair will not be present in your room. *There are times when we may be away for part, or all of your stay. If this occurs, we will have someone coming each day to feed the cats and scoop their litter. If this is a concern, please check with us before booking and we can let you know if we’ll be present for your stay or not.* Please be aware that we do not provide a large breakfast. (See picture in our Photos.) We provide various small breakfast items that may include some or all of the following: small boxes of cereal, granola bars, oat meal packets. There are grocery stores nearby and you are welcome to use our kitchen and refrigerator if and when you desire a larger breakfast. We can provide space (in the kitchen!) for your groceries as well. We are also happy to share any fruit we may have in the kitchen. We sometimes have family or friends visiting and if this is the case, your bedroom and bathroom remain private. (Typically this just means that you have a few more people to chat with while you make your morning coffee!)
