The Mansard Suite is a 2 BEDROOM, 1 BATH Jack and Jill suite on the third floor of my residence. You will not be passing through my private living area, so you will experience the level of privacy, freedom to come and go, and professionalism you would in a B&B or guesthouse. Three other rooms are available in my house. UNIQUE SPACE! Please review photos/read the listing. The space THE ROOM: The Mansard suite is a two-bedroom suite with a single private bath. The unique bathroom is actually two rooms. The tub/shower is separated from the half bath, making it more convenient to share a bathroom. (Please see the blue area of the floor plan in the photos above.) Bedroom 2 has a Queen-size bed, and Bedroom 3 has a Full. There is a mini fridge outside your door exclusively for your use. • 32" TV with Roku and digital local broadcast • High-speed internet access over wireless network • Pharmacopia Organic body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided • Towels, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board provided. • Down comforters are provided in winter. Booking this as well will essentially give you the entire third floor of the house. DO YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY CLIMBING STAIRS? - Please note: This room is on the third floor of a house with very tall ceilings. While the staircase has a gentle rise, it is 24 steps up to the second floor, and an additional 20 to the third. ABOUT THE HOUSE: This is an owner-occupied, three-story townhouse built in 1874. The original woodwork, plaster, and hardware have been retained, and it's been decorated with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture, rugs, and fixtures. The following rooms/suites are available in this house: • The Monument Suite - One-bedroom in-law's apartment, third floor • The Mansard Suite - Two bedroom/one bath (Jack & Jill) suite, on the third floor • The East Room - King bedroom with private baths, second floor. • The West Room - Queen bedroom with private bath, second floor. Links for these listings can be found on my profile page. Guest access When booking The Mansard Suite, you get more than just a place to sleep. All guests are welcome to enjoy the entire first floor of the house. Relax and enjoy a book, have a meal, or access our Wifi network with your portable device in any of the three sitting rooms or the dining room. KITCHEN: The butler's pantry, off the dining room, is set up as a kitchenette for you to store food, make coffee, and heat up small meals. You will not have to share this kitchen with me, but you may be sharing it with other guests. There is a Keurig coffee machine with a variety of K-cups, milk, creamer, sugar, etc. Complimentary tea bags, soft drinks, fresh fruit, and breakfast bars are also available here. There is a small refrigerator, gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster and essentials to cook and serve. PARKING: ONE off-street parking space, directly behind the house, is included with your reservation. During your stay Since the pandemic I have been allowing guests to check themselves in, but I'll ask for your ETA so I can be available in case you need assistance. I live here, but it's a really big house, so you may not see me much, if at all. As you will not be passing through my personal living space, you are fee to come and go as you please. However, I am always around if you need anything. When I do see guests, I am happy to talk about my house, my neighborhood, and my city, if it seems to me that you are open to that. Otherwise I'll let you go about your business. Other things to note This is a 150 year old house containing antique furniture and fixtures. If you prefer everything to be new and modern, this is not for you. Please let me know if you are allergic to feathers. I can make adjustments to accommodate you. I do not serve breakfast, however, there are plenty of options within walking distance, and around the city, that I would be happy to recommend. Registration Details STR-926783
