The Loft Room at The Beach

The Loft Room is a private place for you to come and enjoy the beauty of the Outer Banks. We are within short drive or moderate walk to the beach and Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve. Centrally located, you can enjoy amazing Outer Banks activities, local restaurants and shops. We are a family of 4 humans and a French Bulldog. We are happy to share our home and the Outer Banks with you! The space The Loft Room is bright and cozy, it used to be a garage and was turned into an in-law suite 5 years ago before we purchased the house. We have hosted friends and family members in this space, now we are happy to open it to the Airbnb community. The main sleeping area is a loft accessible by a ladder. There are also 2 convertible chairs that turn into small beds once unfolded. It is equipped with a small kitchenette for you to cook or heat up your own meals (refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop, toaster oven, pots, pans, serving wear, and coffee maker). We have a private property fence and gate across the driveway; which will be open for your vehicle for loading and unloading. Your parking area will be parallel to the street; it is within a few yards from the main entrance to the suite. The gate is usually closed if our children are playing in the yard. You will be able to come in and out as it is not locked. You will have a private entrance to access the Loft Room. Guest with small children are encourage to bring their own pack and play for infant/toddler; I will be happy to arrange the guest suite to make space for it. Guest access You will have independent access to the guest suite with a private entrance. We will share the driveway. You can load and unload your vehicle as much as needed for loading and unloading. Outside hose to rinse off sandy toes. Other things to note The loft is 6 feet off the ground and accessible by a ladder; it holds a queen size mattress with 3" memory foam topper. It requires you to seek your inner child to climb up and down the ladder, as this used to be our children's playroom. Maximum capacity is 400 lbs. Please note that the convertible chairs can easily become a queen size bed once unfolded.
