Maggie's Place is the guesthouse next to our residence, named after our friend who frequently opened her home to others. The guesthouse has a complete kitchen/living area with a queen size sofa bed, work area, and small dining table. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, and the bathroom has a tiled shower and washer/dryer. There is a screened in porch-perfect for a morning cup of coffee. We are a rural area yet only 2.5 miles from the interstate and only minutes from downtown Russellville. This is a totally separate living space, but there is another room in the building which we use for ourselves. This room is mainly used for storing supplies and doing laundry. We have insulated the walls between the two spaces to make the living space very private. The guesthouse has a keypad which will allow for flexible check in times. The code is changed frequently for your safety and messaged to our guests the day they are to arrive. We live in a rural area, but we do want you to know that interstate traffic can be heard when you are outside. We have new windows which block the noise from the interstate. Guests will have full access to the guesthouse apartment. Since we live next to the guesthouse, we will probably meet you and be available if you need us, but we will respect your privacy. Local faves: Pasta Grill, Stoby's, Fat Daddy's BBQ, and Bocadillos. Easy day trips to several state parks-Lake Dardanelle State Park, Mt. Nebo State Park, Petit Jean State Park, and Mt Magazine State Park. There are also several disc golf courses in the Russellville area. There is a walking trail and a boat landing onto Lake Dardanelle about .5 miles from us. We are also close to the Pleasant View and Shiloh softball fields. There is plenty of parking for a boat and an outlet on the porch you can use to charge the batteries for the boat. Russellville is a wonderful place to live. The downtown area is fun to walk around and enjoy. Public transportation is limited to a taxi service, but driving around Russellville and the local area is easy to navigate.
