Custom built waterfront lofted cabin with hot tub. The space Kitchen is complete with all the pots and pans and utensils that you will need, plus gas range and oven, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and moka pot. ​ Large living room with sofa and loveseat, Smart TV, coffee table and end table, lots of board games perfect for family game times and movie nights. There is a bluetooth speaker for you to stream your favorite background music and wifi so you can stay in touch as little or as much as you want. ​ ​ The bathroom features cedar walls and a subway-tiled bath/shower combo. We provide a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience. ​ *Downstairs bedroom and bathroom have limited clearance with a ceiling height of about 6'3" so may not be suitable for taller folks. ​ Cozy gas fireplace plus baseboard heat will keep you cozy in the winter and an AC will keep it comfy during those infrequent days we get super warm. ​ Loft equipped with TWO queen mattresses. The loft is not suitable for smaller children or people with limited mobility as the loft steps are rather steep and has a 4' clearance. Outdoors you will find a campfire pit with chairs, Weber grill, and picnic table, and hot tub. A path leads down to Big Creek, a great place to sit and read a book or explore with the kids. ​ Critters come to visit Laughingwater daily! The deer feeder draws deer to the property daily as well as raccoons and birds. Deer feed can be purchased when you make your reservation.​​ Guest access whole home Other things to note NO SMOKING - PETS WITH PREVIOUS APPROVAL ONLY Guest Count - Rates are based on guest count. Only guests stated on the reservation are allowed at the cabin, including daytime visitors. Actual guest count must not exceed guest count stated on reservation. Violation of this policy will result in a penalty of up to $250 and/or immediate eviction, regardless of how many nights they stayed. Pets require previous approval.  Pet fee is $100 per pet. Pets should not be allowed on furniture or beds. Dog hair on bedding will result in an additional $150 cleaning fee. Quiet Hours 8pm - 8am. Noise complaints will be charged $150 per occurrence. When campfire bans are in place-if you violate the campfire ban you will be charged $250. Check in is at 4pm. If early check in has not been arranged, arriving at the cabin prior to 4pm will result in a $35 penalty for every 30 minutes prior. Please remember to be timely with your check out. If prior arrangements for late check out have not been made, there will be a $35 penalty for every 30 minutes past check out time. We are in a rural area with fragile infrastructure and both power and internet go down frequently. There is a Ring camera on the front door only. Only video, no audio. Tampering with, covering or removing will result in a $250 penalty and/or immediate eviction.
