Kauri Villas in Parua Bay, Whangarei, offers boutique accommodation in either our B&B suites or our self contained cottages. Catering for up to 18 guests. Camelia Cottage has just been refurbished and is a lovely sunny one bedroom cottage adjacent to the main building. Set on 12 acres incl. unspoilt native bush, with over 1km of paths to explore, large native trees, streams, waterfalls, and native birds. Stunning views over the harbour. The space Camelia Cottage is a home away from home. Whether you are just wanting a 1 or 2 night stay, or if you are needing somewhere to stay for a month or more. This beautiful cozy cottage has just been refurbished with new paint, carpet, kitchen, and furnishings. There is a lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy the day. Guest access All guests have access to the pool and spa pool area, which looks out over the picturesque Parua Bay. We also have a rustic barn, which hosts our games room with billiard table, table tennis &foosball. BBQ and laundry available on request. The bush walking tracks requires good footwear and a medium level of fitness, but are well worth the effort to enjoy our beautiful private native bush and streams. We also have sheep and chickens which guests can feed. During your stay We do live in the main villas so will be available for guests, and happy to recommend places to go and sights to see in this wonderful part of New Zealand.
